A Low-Key Yet Memorable Wedding
The wedding ceremony took place in India a couple of days ago, attended by close family members and friends. Neeraj’s uncle, Bhim, confirmed the event and shared that the couple has left for their honeymoon. “Yes, the marriage took place in India two days back. I can’t tell the place where it took place,” Bhim said from their village in Khandra near Panipat, Haryana.
Himani Mor, hailing from Sonipat, Haryana, is a tennis player with an impressive academic background. She is currently studying in the USA, pursuing a Master’s degree in Science in Sports Management and Administration from McCormack Isenberg School of Management. Himani also manages the women’s tennis team at Amherst College as a graduate assistant, overseeing training, scheduling, recruitment, and budgets.
Neeraj Chopra’s Recent Triumphs
Neeraj Chopra’s wedding comes on the heels of his stellar performance at the Paris Olympics, where he secured a silver medal, adding to his historic gold medal from the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Neeraj became the first Indian to win an individual gold medal in a track and field event at the Olympics, etching his name in sports history.

“It has been a longstanding dream of mine to organise and bring a world-class javelin competition to India. With the help of JSW Sports and the Athletics Federation of India, we are making this happen. I am sure that my fellow athletes and the fans in India will both create an experience that will be spoken about for a long time. I am excited to see how big we can make this,” Neeraj said in a statement.
Neeraj envisions making the event an annual fixture in the global athletics calendar, with aspirations to include more track and field disciplines in the future.
